Shield
The shield is blue for Infantry. The state flag of Indiana is also blue. The arms of Le Mans has a chief azure (blue) charged with three fleurs-de-lis or (the first three), the two barrulets or and the blue of the field between them provide the second three, while the five ermine spits in base provide the five, thus symbolizing the regimental designation of 3-3-5.
Crest
The crest is that of the United States Army Reserve.
The coat of arms was originally approved for the 335th Infantry Regiment on 29 June 1926. It was redesignated for the 335th Airborne Infantry Regiment on 31 March 1952. It was redesignated for the 335th Regiment on 8 August 1960. The insignia was amended to add the accent mark to the motto on 3 April 1970.
